Duckhorn Wine Company is Hiring a Retail Assistant (Goldeneye) Near Philo, CA
- Assist with the daily tasting room set-up being proficient in both opening and closing procedures.
- Possess knowledge of food safety/handling and a willingness to learn.
- Perform food preparation, including slicing, plating/presentation, and storage.
- Buss tables and maintains general cleanliness of Visitor Center to include kitchens and indoor/outdoor tasting areas.
- Assist with cleaning glassware, plates, etc.
- Set up seated tastings, private and VIP tastings.
- Restocks non-wine inventory in the retail room with efficiency.
- Assist Wine Specialists with packing wine sales and carrying wine to guest vehicles and clean-up of the hospitality area at end of each day.
- Understand the general functions of the POS system.
- Assist with welcoming guests, check-in procedures, and seating.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including POS and reservation systems.
- Ability to work weekends and select holidays.
- Valid Driver's License and insurable MVR.
- Ability to lift up to 42 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
